Established in 2017, we deliver a range of professional courses in South Yorkshire and the East Midlands, engaging with learners and empowering them to qualify for career advancement. With links to major companies around the UK, and more than 50 years’ experience behind us, we take pride in inspiring and motivating people to invest in their personal success.

Meet the Team

Julian Marshall 

Backgroud:

Julian's 30 year railway career started in 1991 with British Railways working operationallly. He then went into the educational side of the railway where he worked with the largest rail training company in the UK as a consultant to set up their funded arm of the company. Julian has held senior leadership roles within the industry and has  great track record in the rail sector building strong and lasting relationships at all levels.

Steve Chesman

Background:

Steve has worked in the railway industry for 13 years, he has overseening varying operational and educational roles, he has an excellent understanding of enhancing educational programmes to meet challenging and demanding learner needs. Quality is at the forfront of every aspect of Steve's postion and he make it his mission to transcend this into Vitaes ethos.


Marc Malloy

Background:

Marc has been part of the railway Industry for over 15years, he originally started as an apprentice, working in various operational roles. He moved into the educational side of the industry after 5 years of being on the ground and on the tools. Marc has extended his knowledge hugely over the years, he has excellent understanding of establishing robust company strategies and quality improvement. Marc ensures the focus is on the learner at every step of their training through Vitae Services – the goal is to give the best, most inspiring and rewarding experience possible the learner can experience.


Grant Lee

Background:

Hello my name is Grant and I have been working within the rail industry since 2013. My rail experience ranges from a track operative to machine/crane controller, I have been in the training department since 2014 delivering level 2 apprenticeships, level 3 diplomas, small tools competencies and safety critical competencies.

K.H

Background:

K.H is a very experienced Lead Trainer/IQA with twenty years of training experience covering a multitude of vocational roles. Kevin currently specialises in training associated with the rail industry and has been able to offer training which benefits from a wealth of knowledge and experiences built up during his seventeen years within the industry,
He is a strong believer in the need to ensure that all teaching and learning is carried out at an outstanding level, he strives to ensure the that very best learning experience is enjoyed by all student, each course, and every time. Kevin is also accredited by NPORS to deliver a range of construction plant courses.

James Cocksedge

Background: 

James has worked previously as an OLEC3 engineer on the railway for over 8 years, part of his role was to supervise works and also train other staff on the day to day roles as a linesman. James now works as a  trainer/assessor teaching a range of vocationally related qualifications at all Levels. 

Carl Embley

Background:

Carl has 10 years experience working within the rail sector. Beginning his career as a Track Operative undertaking Track Renewals and Maintenance progressing onto Machine Controller/Crane Controller and

establishing himself as a Lift Supervisor for one of Britain's largest On Track Plant companies working on some of the UK's major rail projects. Carl has also been training since 2012 delivering a range of both vocational and safety critical courses. He also has vast experience in small plant competency
delivery. Having been an IQA for the UK's largest rail training firm his attention to detail and quality is unrivalled. Carl has a passion his industry, his learners and always aims to go above and beyond to really enhance their
learning experience

Becca Entwistle

Background

Becca has been working for Vitae Services for a year and a half but has had previous railway knowledge from her past job working at Intertrain where her role was to carry out business development and marketing. Becca is currently studying a Business and Marketing Ba honours degree through an online distance learning platform and is due to graduate in 2021. 


Karina Rowlatt

Background:

Karina has just recently joined Vitae Services Ltd as an apprentice. Her roles vary from day to day administrative duties.
